Student Life Theatre

Musical & Theatre Overview

About Us

CCS Theatre engages, equips, and empowers students in their acting, singing, and creative movement abilities as well as develop skills in technical theatre such as set construction, costuming, properties, lighting, and sound. Students in grades 2-12 have the opportunity to be in the annual Broadway-style musical theatre production and students in grade 7-12 have the additional opportunity to participate in the competitive Saskatchewan Drama Association One Drama Festival program.

Students involved in our theatre program develop interpersonal skills, confidence, teamwork, personal responsibility, and leadership skills within the context of learning to use these skills to glorify and serve God.   We also seek to create community amongst students, staff, parents, and professionals in our city.

The CCS Theatre Program has established an excellent reputation through a combination of hard work, strong production values, incredible performances, and community-oriented theatre choices. It is not unusual for over 1300 people to attend our musical productions each year!
