Donations, Advertising and Sponsorship

DONATIONS: CCS Theatre Program

We could not produce the quality of musical theatre or one act plays our audiences have come to expect nor could every Cornerstone student have the opportunity to perform without the support of donations. Students are not charged fees or required to sell a specified number of tickets to participate in either the fall musical production or in the one act play.  These productions are not produced as fundraisers for the school.

Ticket sales, sponsorships, and donations help offset the costs and the theatre program runs as a result of the servant hands, feet, and hearts within the production team. Theatre is simply a program we offer to our students and, we hope, as a gift to the community of Moose Jaw.

Main areas of expense:

o Royalties/Performance Rights

o Theatre rental (fall musical only)

o Lighting and sound

o Set

o Properties

o Costumes

o Hair/Wigs/Make-up

o Advertising

o Programs

o U-Haul rental

o Entry fees (one act festival only)

o Student fees (one act festival only)

If you would like to play a part by supporting the current production or ensuring future productions or by contributing to assist with other program costs (i.e. dance mirrors, chapel staging equipment, chapel lighting and/or sound, theatre breaks and castors, clinician costs, etc.) by becoming a donor please call 306-693-2937 or email musicals@ccsmj.ca.  A receipt for income tax purposes will be issued for donations of $20.00+ in February. Cheques should be made payable to Cornerstone Christian School.
