Student Leadership
Along with chapel and Christian Ethics classes, creating opportunities for students to serve one another, the community, and beyond is a significant priority in personal and spiritual formation. Jesus says, “Consider others as more important than yourself” and modelled this in his willingness to do even the smallest and insignificant of tasks. From serving in the classroom in elementary, to being a part of student leadership in the high school, to being a team leader on a missions trip to Mexico, we believe it is crucial for students to develop a heart of service for others.
Leadership opportunities are available for students in Grades 7-12 with our Student Leadership Council (SLC). These students learn how to plan and execute school events such as movie days, dress up days and year end carnivals, while also learning how to show Christ’s love through volunteering in the community throughout their time in the SLC.
